Cancellation Policy

Event Cancellation by The Society or 3rd ID Command
The Society of the 3rd ID (the Society) and/or the 3rd ID Command (Command) reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If the Society or Command cancels the event, registrants will be offered a full refund.

Registration Cancellation by Participant
Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for an individual ticket or group tickets is seven days (1 week) before the event.

- Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.

- Cancellations received after the stated deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

- Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.

- All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.

- Refund requests must include the name of the attendee(s) and registration confirmation number(s).

- Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.

- Cancellations may be subject to a ten percent (10%) cancellation fee.

Registration Cancellations for Unanticipated Duty Assignments (UDA)

- Unanticipated Duty Assignments are defined as a deployment or unexpected work assignment related to active-duty responsibilities.

- Request for a refund must be submitted in writing via the email noted above.

- Refund request must be accompanied by documented proof of the UDA.

- Refund requests must be received prior to the night of the event.

- Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.

- No refunds for UDA will be issued after the night of the event.

- Questions and/or clarification regarding UDA refunds can be sent via email to the email noted above.


Late and/or On-Site Registrations
Unless specifically stated on registration materials, Late Registrations are registrations made seven (7) days prior to the event. On-Site registrations are tickets purchased the night of the event. Late and/or On-Site registrations are subject to an additional $10.00 per attendee registration fee.
