OUR MISSION:
The Foundation was incorporated on 19 November 2004 and chartered as a Not-For-Profit Public Charity on 19 January 2005. The Foundation is affiliated with, but separate from the Society of the Third Infantry Division. Nevertheless, our mission to provide scholarship grants to Third Infantry Division soldiers and the children and grandchildren of those who have served with the Division, as well as the unmarried spouses of those killed while serving in the Division.
The Scholarship Foundation also embraces the mission of raising awareness of educational opportunities for the families of all Army service members. We believe that many who are eligible to submit scholarship grant applications are not aware of the many opportunities available to them.
