Dave has been a member of the Society since 2011. In 2012, he was elected Vice President of Outpost 5, and Eastern Regional Vice President in 2014; re-elected to this post in 2016. Dave spent two years as part of the 3rd Infantry Division from 1994-1996 as a member of D 2/15 Infantry. These were the last years the Division was headquartered in Germany, during which D Co. was assigned to the 1st Armored Division during Operation Joint Endeavor from January -August 1996.
After serving five more years in the Pennsylvania National Guard's 1/111 Infantry, 28th Infantry Division, Dave earned his B.S. in Social Science Education from the University of South Florida and M.S. in STEM Education from California University of Pennsylvania. He currently works as a middle school science teacher in Philadelphia and lives with his wife and four children.
